Trevor turns 7!!!
Wow, it's hard to believe that my oldest nephew is 7 years old already. Where has the time gone???? Last Sunday the family met at the Golden Park to celebrate Trevors birthday. The weather was nice thankfully, it has been super hot here lately (heat index over 100 with humidity from hell). I hope Mr. Trevor had a wonderful birthday!

Trevor with his monster truck birthday cake!

My mommy and sister cutting the cake, the little kids are all cousins.

Trevor going down the slide, JD going down the stairs. All the kids had a great time playing together.

My mother had a great time playing with the grandkids, and they enjoyed playing with her!

My youngest nephew, Cole, Ashley and Jesse.
That's all the pictures that will fit on here. You can view all the pictures taken at the link to your right (Sweigart-pictures)
Have a good day everyone.
Zoo Trip 2006
Every year this trip gets easier, but it's not easy....LOL. Once the kids hit the inside of the zoo, one runs this way, the other runs that way and were off. But we always have a wonderful time and yesterday was no exception. There were tons of people there yesterday, but the weather was perfect for a zoo trip. I do have one comment to make about the attire some people choose to wear at the zoo, What are you thinking????? Heels, fancy dress, WHITE?, if I had a nickle for every woman sitting on a bench rubbing her feet while her fancy shoes sit on the ground, I would be rich. With that said...........

That's all I have room for on here, more pictures of the trip can be located on the Sweigart-pictures link on your right. Videos will also be added sometime today.
After we were done at the zoo (about 7pm) we were all hungry. So, we went to Joe's Crab Shack. If you have never been there, you need to go. The food is excellent, the service is out of this world, and you never leave there hungry. A manager walked up to our table and said they had dropped our food on the floor in the back. We had only been there about 20 minutes anyway (the place was packed) and he told us he would take care of us. And boy did they, they brought fries for the kids, gave them fancy straws, extra of alot of things, and took 50% off our bill!!!!! We were shocked. We would have never known what happened if they weren't so honest. Great place and good crabs!!!
Great trip, and we all had fun!
Thank you Grandma Clark and Aunt Ashley
I should have had this put awhile ago, sorry Mom. For Maddy's Birthday my mother got her those darling little bow sandals and a few outfits. Here is one of them. She loves the little frogs on it. She points at them and says "My froggies". She was eating an ice cream cone, or in her words a "yum yum". She will get the cone out for you, hand it to you, open the freezer, start dancing while singing "yum yum, yum yum, YEAH!" It's the cutest thing.

She had just stuck her finger through the side of the cone and was checking it out. I love the look on her face.

Madison being Madison. She is her own woman....LOL.
We are off to the zoo in a little while, the kids are excited.
Thanks Grandma and Aunt Ashley. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow!!!!
Home, Home on the Range...........
Wednesday, Jason went to get 5000 (yes that's five thousand) chicks. Just for info, 5000 little chirping machines are loud. I knew the kids would want to keep a few so I told them they could pick out a couple (hahahaha). I wouldn't mind having fresh eggs anyway. While we were "processing" the chicks, more and more tubs of chicks went into the keep pile. We planned on thinning the herd until, naturally, Jason gets a call, hey I need chickens about 3 weeks old. Well crap. So Jason brings over more chicks that were supposed to "stay at the building with the guineas". So now we have..............

And this is only a few, I bet there is 100 chicks total. Ding Dang customers....LOL. The kids do have a good time taking care of them and letting them run around. Poor Madison squeezes the life (literally) out of the poor little suckers. She seems to think that anything she holds must be pinched between the index and thumb until it's eye balls pop out. So we are working on that.
Ice cream is a popular afternoon/evening snack around here.

I love the look on her face in this one.

JD enjoying his freeze pop, notice his other hand. (Click on the picture to make it bigger)
There are more pictures in the Family Time 2006 album. Just click on the Sweigart-Pictures link to the right. There are even some of Mom and Dad in there!! Wow.
We are planning a trip to the St. Louis Zoo tomorrow providing everything goes accordingly. With this heat wave, our AC at the building has been going out. I think we've lost like 4 ac units in the past week. The heat is supposed to break today.
Please keep commenting. JD LOVES it!
Lots of Love from Illinois
JD and his little green friend
This morning JD did his usual morning routine, woke up, used the facilities, and then headed into the bedroom to check on the chameleons. I was sitting here working on the computer and he comes tooling out with the female jacksons chameleon on his hand. It was so cute. So we had to get pictures, naturally, so he could share with everyone.
JD wants to tell everyone that they ate this morning, they have looooonnnnggg sticky tongues, and they change colors when they are mad. Sometimes they open their mouths and get all puffy. He also says they are soooo cute.

Going backwards again
Ran out of room below so will have to continue here. I haven't figured out the way the storage works on this thing yet, it's odd. Anyway, moving on
IF YOU CLICK ON THE PICTURES, A BIGGER ONE WILL POP UP!

Madison's Room Before
Madison's Room after (I LOVE her room)

The living room. It really isn't this dark, it is really hard to get the true color of this to turn out in pictures, plus the sun was barely up when I took this. Jason says he feels like he's in a barn in the living room. But he really doesn't care what color anything is anyway, so.............

My two little helpers
There is alot more pictures if you click on the sweigart pictures link. Plus a few new videos on the side bar.
What we did this weekend
Zachary and I spent ALL weekend painting the living room, JD's room, and Madison's room. Zachary was a huge help in doing all of this, I couldn't have done it without him. I won't lie to anyone, painting with a 4 year old and a 3 year old is hell. Just ask my mother she was on the phone with me when I was trying to paint the living room. We were able to escape any tragic spills of paint, I THINK I was able to spot all the hand prints, butt prints, finger painting swirls before they dried. I thought about taking a picture of the kids and using them as paint swatchs when I go to pick out things to go in the rooms....LOL. We still haven't found my car keys which magically disappeared during the painting process and I haven't figured out how the green crayon ended up in the dryer. I always have "help" when I am doing laundry so it could have been either one of them. I haven't had that dryer for more than 6 weeks. If anyone has to deal with this, turn the dryer on to soften the crayon, wipe out with dry papertowels until you get almost all out, then use 409. You will need about 200 q-tips to get in all the cracks. Wash dryer lint trap with dawn and hot water. Grab your old toothbrush and scrub. With all of that said, I was very pleased with the way everything turned out. Please don't pay attention to the mess, it was impossible to keep the house in order while doing this. I still haven't put everything back up on the walls either.

More Birthday stuff!!!

Maddy tearing into the bag, she dug all the way to the bottom before she started opening anything.

She received a pair of cute sandals which she has on in this picture, a new cute outfit, a pair of Nike tenny runners for school, a darling little purse which she won't put down (I didn't get a picture of it darn it)

She also got a play jewlery set which she is sporting here. She also had to try on the outfit. She likes Elmo.
JD received the movie Eight Below, which is a really good movie and he says Thank You! Mom will only cry twice during that movie...LOL.
The kids are enjoying Mom being on vacation. Mom is enjoying being on vacation with her kids!
You can view more pictures of Madison opening her presents at the Sweigart pictures link on the left. They are in the folder of Madisons 3rd Birthday.
A few Changes
I have been working on the blog to add a few more features for everyone to stay connected. Under the links section on the right hand side there are a few new links. One is linked to my shutterfly account where you can view all the pictures I take. I can't post them all here naturally. You can even add your own pictures to the collection, order prints, and leave comments. Again if you have a few moments, please leave a comment for the kids. They love to sit here and read what people have said. It makes them feel special. And this is something that is growing with them so when they are older they will have it, like an online scrapbook. So it's neat when other people add to it. If anyone has any pictures they would like to add, email them to me, I would gladly put them up.
The other link is to the video website that I use to upload those tiny videos. Those are a pain in the rear end to get on here, it's the coding, it doesn't like to work very well. So, on that little bar to the right, it shows the last 6 videos that I've uploaded. Most of them should be the kids, but some may not be. Now there is a few videos on there of my sisters graduation. So check that little thing every now and then.
I think that's it for now.
Hope everyone is doing well.
Lots of Love,
Jason, Chris, Zachary, JD, and Madison
Thanks Grandpa Ken and Grandma Janet!
Madison opened her birthday present that came in the mail from Grandpa Ken and Janet yesterday. She pulled it out and started putting it on! I think it's a hit. It's a darling little dress.

Here Miss Madison is modeling her new outfit.

We were blessed with some beautiful children!
Thanks again
Birthday Video
Here are a few small videos of Madison's Birthday. Pardon Sydney(my bird) in the background, she gets excited when the house is excited. There are three videos, just click on the one you want to watch and a new window should pop up. If anyone has any trouble just let me know.

Hope everyone enjoys!
Happy 3rd Birthday Madison
Madison turned 3 on July 8th!! She did the cutest thing. Her cake was in the fridge and everytime she opened the fridge door she would yell "SUPRISE". It was so cute!

She had a good birthday. Jason took the kids to the Springfield Zoo while Mommy slaved away at work. Madison and JD both love the zoo. They are going to be animal lovers for sure!
We had a little party for her after I got home. She was allowed to eat her favorite supper, Chetos. Yum Yum.

Madison blowing out her candles. Jason kept lighting them over and over again so she could keep doing it. She loved it!

I wonder what's in here???? Isn't she a doll.

Of course her favorite thing was the .88 necklaces that I picked up....LOL. As the saying goes pay a $100 for the toy they play with the box.

Madison modeling her new dress sandals that Grandma Clark got her. She loves the little bows.
I will be adding a few videos I took within the next day or so. They take awhile to upload to the website and I am out of time this morning. Take care everyone.
Happy 4th
Well, as the 4th of July approaches, so does Madison's 3rd Birthday. It's hard to believe she's going to be 3. She is a one of kind kid that's for sure. We are working on potty training which is going well; she really loves to flush the toilet. After she flushes she throws her hands up in the air and screams "We did it!" Then does a little happy dance. It's cute.
JD hasn't been feeling well the past couple of days. The GI flu is going around in this part of the area and I do believe he has it. Jason bought JD a Savannah monitor a few shows back. JD LOVES this lizard and carries it around all over the place. I need to get some pictures of him holding it. A boy and his lizard, nothing beats it.
Zach has been learning how to properly clean a house and how much work a rodent business is.
Jason has been working, working, and working some more. His latest obsession is chameleons. We now have 3 more. They are cute little things. They just came home last night so I'm not going to freak them out with a camera shoved in their face just yet. But once they settle in, I'll get some pictures.
I'm gearing up to go back to college for my bachelors in nursing. I'm ready to hit the books again. I love school. I received my acceptance letter to Quincy University yesterday with a $5500 academic scholarship and they will continue to give me that provided I keep my grades up (with a total of 16500 over 3 years) I was happy!
We went fishing last weekend. A good time was had by all. JD love holding the fish while Madison just like touching them. One started flopping in the boat after it fell off the hook and Madison started screaming at the top of her lungs "Fishy, Fishy". We went on a boat and no one went overboard. With Madison being the water bug she is, we figured she would want to go swimming, but she didn't. It was fun.
That's our lives right now. Hope all is well with everyone.
