What we did this weekend
Zachary and I spent ALL weekend painting the living room, JD's room, and Madison's room. Zachary was a huge help in doing all of this, I couldn't have done it without him. I won't lie to anyone, painting with a 4 year old and a 3 year old is hell. Just ask my mother she was on the phone with me when I was trying to paint the living room. We were able to escape any tragic spills of paint, I THINK I was able to spot all the hand prints, butt prints, finger painting swirls before they dried. I thought about taking a picture of the kids and using them as paint swatchs when I go to pick out things to go in the rooms....LOL. We still haven't found my car keys which magically disappeared during the painting process and I haven't figured out how the green crayon ended up in the dryer. I always have "help" when I am doing laundry so it could have been either one of them. I haven't had that dryer for more than 6 weeks. If anyone has to deal with this, turn the dryer on to soften the crayon, wipe out with dry papertowels until you get almost all out, then use 409. You will need about 200 q-tips to get in all the cracks. Wash dryer lint trap with dawn and hot water. Grab your old toothbrush and scrub. With all of that said, I was very pleased with the way everything turned out. Please don't pay attention to the mess, it was impossible to keep the house in order while doing this. I still haven't put everything back up on the walls either.JD's room before
